'Ohana in Hawaiian means family, and also no one of us shall be left behind.

The mission of ‘Ohana Rescue is to take in, whether from a previous owner, Sheriffs Department, or Animal Control, horses in need of rescue. We provide these horses with love, food, shelter, and appropriate medical attention. We find homes for these horses in Florida with approved families who will love their adopted horses for life.  We provide educational support to the people who adopt these horses, so that they may successfully continue to care for their new family member. We educate people, including children, about the special needs of horses, the responsibilities of horse ownership, and the importance of proper regular care.

We have an arrangement with Horse.com!

2-11-10 Isabelles' surgery has been scheduled. They have given me a month to get weight on her. It is scheduled for the 18th of March, she is supposed to be there on the 17th at noon, so they can evaluate her. She is having it done at:
Surgi-Care
605 Bloomingdale Ave
Brandon, Fl
813-643-7177

Any donations towards her surgery would be greatly appreciated!!! Although you can mail us a check, it would probably be easiest for you to call Surgi-Care directly with a credit card or (credit card) debit card to do so. Just say it's for Isabelle's (from 'Ohana Rescue) eye surgery. Any amount you could spare would be appreciated, they add up.
